Networks - Youth
(Youth meetings are every Wednesday at 7pm)

We are living in an incredible time! This year we will see youth and young adults begin to flood into the churches like never before. It’s a time that hearts will be revived and filled with the presence of God. We will see young adults turning from a lost sense of purpose and identity, to being filled with the purposes of God! This generation is crying out in desperation, needing a real God of love and power to overflow in their lives, bringing healing to their hearts. We have already begun to see God move in such a way, almost on an everyday basis… but this year I believe the Lord will multiply it!

In times past, it was not a common thing to see youth excited about serving Jesus. The idea of going to church and living for God seemed dull and boring to most young people. This argument had some weight because their time was filled with sports, internet, parties, television, and so many other things capturing their attention. What’s so amazing about God is thatHe is an all consuming God! Young people today will fight against religion, but they won’t fight against a true God that is made alive in their hearts. If you encounter religion, the tug of war will remain in your heart between serving God and living all out for the things that are destructive. Young people today are sick of religion, they are ready for the fire of God!

Today wrong and destructive fires are trying to forcefully advance in the lives of young people; the fires of pornography, the fires of sexual immortality, the fires of bitterness, hatred, and murder. Only the fires of God will put out these fires; religion can not!

We are excited and are expecting this year to be a year of miracles. Even at this very moment you can experience a miracle in your heart, and your life can be changed for the better. This took place in my life in the 10th grade. I was living a life absent from the power and reality of God! Life was simply about survival. My only goal was to be married and have children some day. Although this seemed simple and sweet, what I didn’t realize was that marriage and children would still leave a void in my heart, if I didn’t find the true purpose for my life. One night as I laid in my bed, starring at the street lights, I whispered a prayer, “God if your real... show me!” To my surprise, a short time later I was invited to a church meeting. I was nervous because it wasn’t what I was use to, but I went anyway. I didn’t understand much, but the one thing I knew, was that I needed to get right with Jesus. In that moment the world stood still, and the guilt and shame of my sin disappeared. I felt clean and fresh on the inside and I was overwhelmed with the love of God. It is now eleven years later, and I’m more in love with Jesus than I have ever been!

I can’t help telling people about Him because He’s too good and awesome to keep to myself. This miracle of salvation can take place in your heart today! Salvation is about a relationship with Jesus Christ! The one thing that keeps you from knowing God is your sin…and no one is exempt from this. Jesus came and willingly laid down His life, so that through His sacrifice you can be saved. Salvation is a gift, it’s not something you can work for or earn. You must simply believe, and you will be saved. If you are ready for true salvation, then pray this prayer… “Jesus I acknowledge I am a sinner. I believe you came and died on a cross for me, so I could be saved. I believe you are alive and seated at the right hand of God. I confess You are my Lord and my Savior! I give you my life… let your perfect will be done in me and through me! Lord, come and fill my life with your presence that I’m never the same again! In Jesus name, amen!”
If you prayed this prayer I want to encourage you to get plugged into a Bible believing church filled with the presence of God! Surround yourself with men and women who are radical for God! I also would encourage you to call the office and let someone know you have just prayed this prayer. We love you pray for you that God would bless, prosper, and protect!

Living blessed,
